We’ve had a busy month completing boiler installations and boiler replacements across Milton Keynes, Buckingham and Towcester, alongside hot water cylinder installations in Bedford and Northampton. Many homeowners are currently reviewing their heating systems, whether due to rising energy costs, ageing boilers or recent breakdowns, and are starting to look into new boiler costs and replacement options before problems worsen. With efficiency, reliability and long-term savings in mind, more people are choosing to upgrade now rather than risk losing heating or hot water during colder weather. Our installation diary is fully booked for the next two weeks, but we’re still offering free, no-obligation boiler replacement quotations and honest advice on new boiler costs to help you plan ahead. If you’re considering a boiler replacement in Milton Keynes or the surrounding areas as we head into February, now is a great time to arrange a home survey and secure a future installation slot before availability becomes limited.

“Highly recommend Lime Heating – quick and easy to book for a boiler service and price given on booking online. Managed to get in for next day. Steve arrived on time, friendly and knowledgeable. Gave me advice on how to maintain my boiler and problem solve if I have any issues. Great service hence why I’m booking in with them again to sort out a repair to my tap.”
We welcomed new staff to our team
Recruitment is an ongoing process as we look to grow and expand our team. Natalie joined us in January and will be working in the office assisting with bookings, quotes, feedback and more.
Emergency plumbing in Loughton, Milton Keynes
The January cold snap was short-lived, but frozen pipes still caused significant damage to homes in the region. In this case, we were called to investigate a catastrophic leak, traced back to a fitting in the loft that had frozen and burst. An absolutely devastating scene for the tenants to return home to after a holiday. The tenants acted swiftly, isolating the water to the property, but water cascading from the header tank for days has obviously done significant damage. Our emergency plumber identified, removed and capped off the failed fitting.
